We stock a variety of cables that interface to the DF9 board-to-board connector series in conformance with VESA's FPDI-1 standard.
Our FPDI-1 cable products convert from the DF9 to either wire or FFC, allowing for direct termination to wire and/or ZIF connectors.
These different cable constructions are summarized below and are referred as the "FPDI-1 Series" elsewhere on our website:
Construction:
- DF9 to UL1571 AWG 28(7) discrete wires, overmolded
- Available in DF9-31 and DF9-41 styles.
Orientations:
- Two connector-to-cable orientations available, designed so mated cable will either route behind the panel or away from panel edge
Availability:
Applications:
- These flying-lead cable solutions can be terminated to a variety of wire connectors, perfect for those applications where the pin out is not necessarily 1 to 1.

Construction:
- Small adapter board converts from DF9 to second output connector. This adapter is then paired with a mating cable assembly.
- Available in DF9-31 and DF9-41 styles.

- Oriented so cable routes behind panel in most applications

Construction:
- DF9 connectors soldered directly to both ends of a 0.5mm pitch FFC, overmolded, pinned 1 to 1
- Available in DF9-31 and DF9-41 styles
Orientations:
- AA, AB and S/P gender changer orientations available
Availability:
- Stocked in 3", 6", 9" and 12" lengths
Applications:
- Useful for applications where the pin out and connector used on the panel and controller/SBC are the same
